Love, my friend, is not Easy!

Set in the backdrop of the coming of age of Indian IT industry in the 90s, it is the story of three metro Indians whose lives take a dramatic turn when they discover love. While a few are destiny’s chosen ones, some script their own destinies cruising over troubled waters with ease. Here’s the view, a voyeuristic one if you will, from a few cabins in one of the reputed business houses amidst the steel and glass towers that dot the urban cityscape.

The protagonists:
A brilliant & breezy girl for whom no problem is without solution, sails through troubles and travails in her inimitable style - a combination of cheer & courage. Why has she been tested in life even as she saves many around her?
An uber achiever reaches exhilarating heights of excellence in life, be it sports, business or finding love; Suave, thoughtful and diligent - he is an unfailing strategist both in his career and his personal life. What has fate scripted for him?
A debauch yet debonair CEO, his is a journey from despondency to dependability. Graced with inherent charm and an easygoing nature he accepts and conquers circumstances with the extremes of both philandering and philosophy. But will he survive his fatal attraction?

Narrated in first person, it is crisply told and breezy, a story woven through the dialogues the characters have with the readers. The tone and tenor are simple and unpretentious and modulated as the characters progress through situations in life. The story was first blogged over several weeks and without doubt the interest, enthusiasm and comments from the many readers also helped in shaping this well-groomed albeit short final work.
